Even though I didn't plan a New Year's Party...
I did make a couple of treats to ring in the New Year.
NEW YEARS TRUFFLES
Chocolate Truffle Recipe
2/3 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 10 oz. Pkg. Chocolate Chips
Line baking sheet with wax paper.
Heat cream to gentle boil. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until mixture is smooth and all the chocolate is melted. Refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes, until thickened.
Drop chocolate by rounded spoonful's on wax paper. Refrigerate until set. Roll in colored sanding sugar.
Place them in mini white paper cups and wrap in a clear candy box.
Love it! A simple recipe, but, oh, so tasty and eye-catching! Happy New Year!!!
