Trying not to be too gory this Halloween, I came up with an idea for a few cute spiders. If spiders can be cute, these are it!
Spider Cake Pops
Spider Cake Pops
Can anyone guess what cake pop mold I used? No...nope...thought about it...not that one...
okay, okay, I'll tell you - The Snowman Cake Pop Mold by My Little Cupcake!
Here's how...
Make your favorite cake pop mixture.
Press in snowman cake pop.
Unmold.
Insert stick.
Dip in three colors of candy melts. (Or however many colors you want)
Add royal icing eyes by piping a little dot of candy melts to the back of each eye.

Roll and cut strips for the legs and lay over flower former.
(You could also cut a paper towel roll in half and cover with wax paper)
Cut out a round hole in each set of legs for the stick to go through.
(Use the top of a round pastry tip to make the hole)
DO THE LEGS AT LEAST A DAY IN ADVANCE SO THEY DRY!
Turn the spider upside down and pipe a bit of candy melts, slide and stick on legs.
To make it a little easier, leave your spiders off the stick and let them crawl around.
Just be sure to keep them in a box or they'll get away!
