I'm thinking this may be my last Halloween post for 2013 and I wanted to end it with something sweet. And these little chocolate pumpkins fit the bill!
Candy Filled Chocolate Pumpkins
Candy Filled Chocolate Pumpkins
Not only are they made of chocolate, they are filled with chocolate!
And simple to make!
Wilton Pumpkin Mold
CandiQuik Vanilla candy, colored green and orange.
Pipe green CandiQuik in the stem portion of the mold.
Set green stem in refrigerator until set.
Add orange colored CandiQuik to the mold and paint up the sides.
Refrigerate until firm.
Paint more CandiQuik up the sides and refrigerate again.
Gently tap pumpkins out of the mold.
Fill with SIXLETS!
As long as I had vanilla CandiQuik melted, I wanted to added a little spooky spider lollipop to my sweet collection.
What's not to love about this spider?? It's plastic and tied onto chocolate!
Spin your chocolate web today...
Use a chocolate lollipop mold and CandiQuik chocolate.
(I colored some of the chocolate CandiQuik black) Pipe three circles in lollipop mold.
Drag a toothpick through the circles, creating your web.
After the web has hardened, top with more melted CandiQuik (not too hot).
Let it harden in refrigerator then pop it out of mold.
Package in a candy bag and tie with ribbon and spider!
Besides making sweet treats for the Blog, I made Halloween cookies!
Fondant and Royal Icing Skulls!
