You know the saying, "Out of sight, out of mind"? Well, I've had this beautiful sheet of wafer paper stored away. It seems, every holiday ends and I have a stack of projects I didn't get finished. Does it happen to you? Before you know it, the holiday is over and it's on to the next. Seriously, I need an assistant... any body out there?
This is such an easy way to decorate cookies I thought I should share.
So easy, you'll look like a pro without any training.

Wafer Paper Valentine Cookies!
I'm not sure if you believe me.
Have you ever made wafer paper cookies?
I'm telling you, give it a try.
They're so pretty and you don't taste the wafer paper at all!
After my little survey, I decided to make both a photo and video tutorial.
Wafer paper comes in a sheet of several designs.
I used a square paper punch to punch out the designs of the wafer paper.
You can always cut them with a scissors.
The wafer paper design I used is no longer available, but there are several new designs to choose from HERE.
Bake the cookies to fit the square papers.
Outline and flood the cookies.
Let the cookie dry.
Paint the back of the wafer paper with Karo Syrup.
Place the wafer paper on top of the dried icing.
Trim the edge with a #16 star tip.
In a matter of minutes, the cookies were decorated!
And now for the video...
See? I told you they were easy!
