Mini Bridal Dress Cakes!

Let me tell you, I think it's going to be a whirlwind of events celebrating the upcoming wedding of my daughter.  After she said yes to the dress, it was time for her bridesmaids to choose their dresses.  She invited them to meet at the bridal shop to select their dress, then go to her place for dinner and dessert.  Guess who made dessert?

Will you be my Maid of Honor?

I have exciting news...I have become a wedding planner!  YES!  She said yes and now I'm not only the Mother of the Bride, I'm also her personal wedding planner.  From the moment my daughter became engaged, she knew what she wanted and knew just where to go to make it happen.  It started with asking her sister to be Maid of Honor and it involved cookies.

Hanging Chandelier Cookies!

After seeing chandelier cakes for the first time, I thought… “Maybe I could make hanging chandelier cookies”? Once I bought the supplies, it was months before I made it happen. I finally made it happen.  Let me tell you, if there were chandelier cakes back in the day, it would have been the cake I wanted for my wedding.

Mini Tiered Wedding Cake Tutorial~

I don't know if you remember when I participated in a Twelve Days of Christmas project with Brie of Darling Doodles and made this Mini Santa Cake?  Brie is a super sweet blogger and a very talented and busy lady.  With a busy summer schedule she asked me to help her out and I was more than happy to do so!!  This time I'm sharing another mini ~

Puff Pastry Diamond Rings

After lots and lots of desserts, I decided to highlight one of my favorites.  And because I forgot to serve them at the party, I felt the need to give them their very own post.  I couldn't believe I forgot to serve them!

Diamond Bakery!

You better turn your oven on because you're going to be hungry after you visit the Diamond Bakery.  I needed to incorporate bakery items in the brunch menu and really had a hard time narrowing it down...as you will see.  Welcome to the...

Love & Kisses!

This may not be the prettiest of the party decor, but in my honest opinion, these were the tastiest!  Two of my favorite things...Scotcharoo Bars and Brownies.  Like I said I use every inch of my kitchen space...on each side of the cooktop, the sweets were displayed on square cake stands, with white rose petals and gemstones scattered beneath.

Hugs and Kisses for the Soon to Be Mrs.

Diamonds...

It's been awhile since I featured a party, and this time I'm going to show you I can be elegant.  It doesn't happen often, so I hope you savor the moment, or should I say party?
'Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend' was the theme for the Bridal Shower I recently hosted.  After spending too much time searching for the perfect shower invitation, I decided to make them.
