12 Cupcakes of Christmas!

Yep! You read correct...12 as in TWELVE cupcakes of Christmas. In my head this was a very good idea. But in reality...well let's take a look.

12 Cupcakes of Christmas!

Carrot Cake Cupcakes!

So it's almost Easter and I haven't had a chance to make anything super creative, I'll tell you why later.  However, one of my favorite desserts for Easter (or anytime) is Carrot Cake.  And with this adorable chocolate mold, the carrot topped cupcakes were created!

Valentine Cupcakes!

How can these cupcakes be Valentine Cupcakes if there are no hearts?  Well, I guess you could say because they're red and white and sweet.  That qualifies as a Valentine, right?  I'm pretty sure those who get to eat them will feel the love.

Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting!

These are not just Banana Cupcakes, they are cute Banana Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. What started out to be a loaf of banana bread, soon turned into cupcakes.  You could say I was monkeying around in the kitchen.

Eyeball Cupcakes!

I really didn't plan to make anything too creepy this Halloween.  But I went shopping.  Shopping always leads to a purchase I didn't plan.  Trust me when I say, I didn't have bloody eye gumballs on my shopping list.  And I can't help it if I didn't stick to the plan.

Anyway, I found creepy eye gumballs, making the perfect topper for the cupcakes.

Leopard Party Table!

The guest of honor is quite stylish, so I thought including a leopard necklace was only appropriate.  It also served as the backdrop for the dessert table.

Never Melt Ice Cream!

After going through my new Cupcakery book, I couldn't wait to get started baking.  Would you believe Toni created a cookie dough frosting recipe? Everyone else might see cookie dough, I saw Ice Cream!  Finally, I had a reason to use the set of ice cream dishes that had been waiting patiently for such a long time.  NOW IS THE TIME!

Herb Garden Cupcakes!

It's no secret I don't have a green thumb.  In fact, my neighborhood is hosting the Junior League garden tour this summer, when my neighbor was asked if they thought I would like to participate, she laughed and said "she has artificial flowers in her urns"!  Really, who doesn't want to see a beautiful fake faux flower arrangement potted in urns?
Come to find out, no one.

Maybe you'll want to see what I've potted in these garden pots.

Edible Party Horn Cupcake Toppers!

It's almost time to ring in the new year...Are you ready to celebrate?  Yes, I know, sometimes it's hard to start planning another Holiday celebration right after Christmas.  I'm not quite sure how I'll be ringing in the New Year, although, I do see cupcakes in my celebration...cupcakes with edible party horns and confetti.

Lemonade Stand!

Do you remember having a lemonade stand as a child?  Well, I sure do, and it wasn't your typical lemonade stand by any means.  Why?  I grew up on a farm and so my lemonade stand was at the end of the dirt driveway by the mailbox.

My only customer was my grandmother (who lived down the road), the big trucks just passed me by and blew dust all over.  And I did this more than once.  So when I was asked to make cookies for a 1st Birthday with a Lemonade Stand Theme, I was thrilled!

Movie Night!

Being The Partiologist, I had to party with my peeps for a girls night day out.  It was an afternoon of friends just getting together to chat and see a movie.  Of course, I couldn't arrive empty handed and I've wanted to create these Popcorn Cupcakes for a very long time.

Mocha Cupcakes!

Do you know what you want for Mother's Day?  Or what to give for Mother's Day?  I'm sharing two of my favorite things...Chocolate and Coffee.  I don't think I could live without either.

Spa Party Loofah Cupcake!

This has to be my favorite part of the spa party.  It's a DIY Soap and Loofah - cupcake style.  This past Christmas while shopping at Pier One, I saw the cutest little Christmas Cupcake Soap Loofah and I knew then, someday I would recreate it.  And that day is today.

Easter Cupcakes!

After posting the edible Easter Basket Cakes, I hope you're not disappointed today.  It's a simple white cupcake, but with a couple added touches it goes from simple to SWEET!

Gingerbread Sleigh Ride!

Today, I am sharing my Gingerbread cookie/cupcake creation with the world.  And what better way to give gingerbread then have Santa and his Reindeer make the delivery?  Sso many visions of Gingerbread danced in my head, then, as soon as this little sleigh ride rode in, I knew it was what I wanted to make.

Neon Cupcakes!

It's not Halloween, and it's not Thanksgiving,  it's Neon.  Who doesn't love a neon cupcake and who doesn't love a neon cupcake that's easy to make?

I think I've found the answer.

Happy Owl-O-Ween!

I wasn't quite sure what these little guys were, then realized they were owls turned witches for Halloween.  I guess everyone likes to dress up.  And they are votive candle holders, I decided they were too cute for a votive, so I made Mocha Cupcakes.  And I'm pretty sure they are much happier holding a cupcake rather than a candle.  I know I am!

Stained Glass Pumpkins!

After finishing up with all the back to school posts, I decided to start the fall season with something simple.  And this time I really mean simple.

Book Worm Cupcakes!

Along with all the other apple themed treats for the party, I decided to make an apple cupcake.  Not JUST any apple cupcake, this cupcake has a little book worm ready to read!

Rock 'n Roll!

Before I get to the Rock 'n Roll part of this post, you've got to take a look at the girls in their poodle skirts, ready to rock around the clock .  Last year I made Mermaid Cakes for the birthday girls and this year it's Poodle Skirts!
