Wafer Paper Flower Wreath Cake with Video!

Nothing says summer like a cake with flowers, right?  Okay, maybe a lot of things do, but it seems like everywhere I look, I see a summer wreath, filled with flowers.  And because I wanted to make wafer paper flowers, I decided it was time to take on the task.  I watched many you tube videos before deciding which flower to make for my cake.  I wanted pretty, but easy, and I think I found the answer.

I know I'm always kidding about growing up as a Flintstone, although in some ways, it's kind of true.  I did grow up in a rock covered house, one like I've never ever seen again.  While I'm no gardener, my mom can do it all.  I remember the beautiful flowers growing next to the rock covered house year after year, at the time, I didn't really know how much work it was to make the yard so beautiful.

Edible Cactus Terrarium!

As I sit to write this post, I am finding it hard to be excited about spring because it is snowing.  Seriously, it's cold and snowing like a winter day, but I won't let it stop me from sending flowers your way.  And as you probably already know, I'm not talking about fresh flowers.

Beach Week - Frisbee Fun!

People are always playing Frisbee on the beach, not me, but people.  Don't you think that after a game of Frisbee, a person needs a treat.  Hmm, what shall I call it...FrisBEACH, Frisbee Fun, Cupcake Fun, Fun in the Sun, Summer Fun??  Whatever you call it they will be FUN!  These cupcakes are placed on mini Frisbees.  What do you think?
