Many...many years ago, I visited New Orleans, only never attended Mardi Gras. I know I love the colors and to attend one of the parades would be totally awesome, I'm sure. And a King Cake?? Count me in. It was in New Orleans where I first sampled a beignet, okay, I sampled a few because they were that good. And the music, I remember listening to great jazz while eating BBQ. Oh, I also remember dripping BBQ sauce on my white blouse.
It's hard to eat and listen to good jazz without dripping.
Anyway, that's my experience with Mardi Gras, or my non experience. I do have a little experience with cookies and that's where I'm going with this story.
